Three killed in Balochistan incidents

QUETTA - Three people were killed in various incidents of violence in Pasni and Chaman towns while two containers were attacked with hand grenades in Mastung, on Sunday.
Unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing at Agriculture colony in Pasni killing one man identified as Barkat Ali on the spot and seriously wounding Aneel, sources said.
They said that Aneel was being shifted to hospital but he succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital, adding, that the assailants escaped following the incident.
Police reached the crime scene after the incident and started investigation into the killings.
However, motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
In another incident, a man was shot dead in Chaman a border town with Afghanistan.
Sources said that the deceased was identified as Janan who was killed allegedly over a land dispute. Following the incident the relatives of deceased closed the National Highway as protest and demanded administration for taking action against the responsible persons.
Meanwhile, unidentified people hurled hand grenades on two containers in Dasht area of district Mastung.
Resultantly, the grenade exploded, however, no loss of life and damage to containers was reported.
Sources said that the containers were heading towards Karachi from Afghanistan via Quetta. Local administration has started investigations into the incident.
