PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that the day is not far when other three provinces would be part of PTI tsunami as the party has promised to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a role model for other provinces.
"We will bring change every month in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as change has been slow in the past," Imran Khan said this while addressing a function held in to mark the Disable Persons Day at Nishtar Hall Peshawar on Tuesday.
The PTI provincial leaders and activists also attended the function. During the function, Imran Khan distributed tier-cycle and gifts among the disabled people while a large number of their family members were also present.
He said that corruption, favouritism and misuse of funds would not be tolerated in the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. He termed corruption a great curse for the country and an undeclared tax on the poverty-stricken masses.
The PTI chief said that corruption would be eliminated right from top to bottom in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the investment has been affected due to impeding corruption. He further said that the chief minister, ministers and other officials would be accountable for any misdeed, malpractice or corruption.
Similarly, he said that the corruption was gnawing the social fabric of society due to which price hike and unemployment were increasing day by day in the country. "We will create an accountability Commission. He alleged the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has also involved in the corruption and malpractices, but we are creating an 'Ehtesb Commission', which will be made free of political influence and corruption. 
For welfare of orphans, disabled and poor people, he informed that a system would be introduced in the province. "We will be an example for the rest of the provinces and bring the tsunami to them as well," PTI chief said.
The PTI chief said the Khyber-Pakhtunkwa (KPK) government has taken responsibility for disabled and special persons as well as widows and orphans.
"There are 80,000 persons with disabilities in KPK," he informed. He revealed that a foundation has been made to help people with disabilities, which will provide assistance to 26,000 people in the first year, 40,000 in the second year and the rest of the 80,000 in the third year.
Later, he visited Hayatabad, where PTI workers set up a protest camp for last one and half week against US drone strike and block Nato supply route. A large number of party leaders and workers were present at protest camp along the ring road near Hayatabad Toll Plaza in Peshawar.
PTI chief speaking the workers said that his party is making all-out efforts for bringing peace and stability to the country. He congratulated the PTI and its coalition partners for successfully organising protest and blocked the Nato supplies lines via Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He stressed that peace is vital for progress and development in the country. He viewed that KPK has been brought to the verge of destruction. Rejecting the perception of receding tsunami and workers protest against US drones strikes, he said that workers' zeal is still intact and would not allow passing NATO containers from KPK till the halting to missile attacks in tribal region of the Pakistan.
Regarding the ongoing PTI protest against US drone strikes, he vowed that the supply would remain block via Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till the ending of missile strikes. "All parties had unanimously adopted resolution aimed to protest against these strikes but it was not implemented," he added. He said about a large number of innocent tribal people had been used as fuel in the alien war while millions were displaced due to ongoing situations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
