While the ATC judge Atiq-ur-Rehman also adjourned her bail plea till today since the video of the firing incident could not run on the computer of the court.
During the hearing on the bail petition of Kanwal, the investigation officer of the case Inspector Abdul Rehman produced the video of the firing incident, which was saved in a USB flash drive.
However, the video could not run in the court as no media player was installed on the computer of the court. Therefore, the judge directed to install the relevant media player on the computer and adjourned the hearing till today.

She said that Kanwal obeyed the orders of her husband for the safety and protection of her children and she knew nothing about the incident. Kanwal had moved her bail application through her lawyer Kalsum Khaliq who adopted before the court that her client had no connection with the incident of Islamabad standoff.
She maintained that Kanwal came to Islamabad along with her husband and children and she did not know anything prior to the incident in which her husband had held Islamabad hostage for hours.
