QUETTA – The dead bodies of 15 Pakistanis who were allegedly killed in fighting with Nato and Afghan forces in Helmand province of Afghanistan were brought to Balochistan via Chagai district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the fierce clashes took place between Taliban and Nato forces in Afghanistan near Pakistan border in which more than 15 Pakistanis hailing from various parts of Balochistan were killed.
Sources said that some of the deceased were identified as Mehmood Dad, Fakaruddin, Rehmatullah, Muhammad Azat, Samiullah, Ehsanullah, Aminullah, Haji Muhammad, Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Owais and Bashir Ahmed.
They belonged to Quetta, Chagai, Kuchlak, Zhob, Pishin and Nushki, sources said, adding that some bodies were taken away by Nato forces.
The bodies were brought to a seminary in Chagai district and were dispatched to their native towns for burial.
It is not confirmed whether they had gone to Afghanistan for fighting or not.
