ATC records statements of 3 more witnesses

ISLAMABAD - Special Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad Monday recorded statement of three more prosecution witnesses in judges’ detention case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.
ATC Judge Atiq-ur-Rehman conducted the hearing of the case and deferred the hearing till November 11 for further proceedings after recording the statements of three witnesses. The witnesses were included advocate Anwar Dar, advocate Sardar Abdul Aziz Chandio and constable Tanveer.
Meanwhile, the ATC court also issued notices to the counsel of Musharraf in a contempt of court petition moved by Colonel (Retd) Inaam-ur-Rahim who is also a witness in the case. He filed the contempt of court petition saying that on the last hearing of the case, Musharraf requested the court to adjourn the hearing as his counsel was busy in Supreme Court while he was not appeared before the Apex court on that day. Later, the ATC judge adjourned the hearing after issuing notices to Musharraf’s counsel Ilyas Siddiqui advocate.
