Paris Hilton played a special DJ set for a group of kids on the Spanish party island of Ibiza over the weekend to raise money for a local charity. The hotel heiress has a summer residency at the Amnesia nightclub, and on Saturday (29Aug15), the doors were opened early so she could host an event for youngsters and their parents. The Foam and Diamonds For Kids party reportedly raised $100,000 (£62,500) for APNEEF, a local charity which helps people with disabilities. The party looked like a rager with balloons, rubber sticks, dancing and refreshments. Hilton looked thrilled as she held several of the kids. The event ended at 7 pm. In a press release for the event it was said, ‘Paris has spent a lot of time learning about a local non-profit organization, Apneef, which serves children with any type of physical, mental, sensory and / or cognitive need in Ibiza. ‘Hilton has visited their children’s center on multiple occasions and has been personally touched by all the stories; both of the individual children, and their families who need the help and support of the center.’ It was added, ‘This is a place where childcare is provided while the parents go to work, and are able to provide an income for their families, as well as receive different types of mental treatment and therapy.’ Carmen Bond, the General Manager at APNEFF stated, ‘It is an honor for us to collaborate with Paris and have her help us at APNEEF.

‘It is also a unique opportunity that will illustrate to the world what we do and learn about our efforts, which is an important door to be opened.’  Foam & Diamonds is hosted by Hilton at Amnesia until September 12. Earlier this month the Stars Are Blind singer was in Poland for an event. She took along one of her lap dogs Peter Pan.
