Pakistani fashion show held at Paris

Paris-A high-end Fashion Show consisting of high quality fashion garments designed by top designers from Lahore and Karachi was held by the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris, according to a press release. People belonging to fashion industry, Chamber of Commerce of Paris, Media and garments business circles attended. They appreciated the creativity, aesthetics and excellence of Pakistani fashion designers.
While opening the show the Ambassador of Pakistan in France Mr Ghalib Iqbal told the audience that the designs created by the Pakistani designers were representative of their talent and a glimpse of booming fashion industry in Pakistan. He invited the audience to have a critical look at the garments, compare them with the rest of the world and buy them on merit.
 The audience generally said that Pakistani fashion garments were capable of competing in international market.
The designers whose designs were presented through French Models, included; Mohsin Ali, Hasan Shehryar Yaseen, Muse, Tapu Javeri and Wardha, The house of Kamiar Rokni and Munib Nawaz.
Top level Pakistani designer Hasan Shehryar Yaseen also spoke on the occasion and said that Pakistani fashion industry was capable of sustaining itself in international fashion market because of its recent trend of fusion of East and West.
