Ashton settles TV dispute

CALIFORNIA: Ashton Kutcher and his production partner have settled a £875,000 lawsuit with officials at the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) over a scrapped reality show featuring their employees. The Two and a Half Men actor, who runs Katalyst Media with his pal Jason Goldberg, struck a deal with DMV bosses to make a fly-on-the-wall TV series about the everyday issues facing department staff, but executives reportedly pulled out of the deal "abruptly and without justifiable excuse" - even though the project had already been picked up by chiefs at America's TruTV channel.–AN
