Taylor Swift was a favourite when the American Music Award nominations were announced on Tuesday.
The blonde 1989 hit maker was mentioned for six awards, including Artist Of The Year as well as Song Of The Year for Blank Space. The nods were announced by Charlie Puth and Joe Jonas on Good Morning America.

Other contenders for Artist Of The Year are Luke Bryan, Grande, Maroon 5, Minaj, One Direction, Smith and Meghan Trainor. The field will be narrowed to five nominees based on fan voting tallied through November 11.
The nominees for Song Of The Year include Wiz Khalifa Featuring Charlie Puth See You Again, Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars Uptown Funk!, Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, Swift’s Blank Space and The Weeknd Can’t Feel My Face.
The three nominees for Favourite Female Artist in the Soul and R&B category were Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna. As for the male Soul and R&B category, Chris Brown, Trey Songz and The Weeknd were named.
That means Rihanna could have another run-in with her ex Brown. New Artist Of The Year went to Fetty Wap - who was involved in a motorcycle wreck last month - Sam Hunt, Tove Lo, Walk The Moon and The Weeknd. Jennifer Lopez - whose Las Vegas show launches in January - is set to host the show, which will air live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre on Sunday, November 22.
