Clooney mocks Brad at Golden Globes

George Clooney mocked his friend Brad Pitt’s injured leg at the Golden Globes. The actor took to the stage at the awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles to introduce a clip of his pal’s movie ‘Moneyball’ and as he climbed the steps he used Brad’s walking stick.
Brad - who attended the show with his partner Angelina Jolie - has been seen using a cane recently after injuring himself when he took a tumble while carrying his three-year-old daughter Vivienne. As he took to the podium, George told the star-studded audience: “I have to give it back to him ... He can’t make it to the bar otherwise.” The crowd laughed in approval of the Hollywood hunk’s gag. The two friends were both nominated in the Best Actor in a Drama category for their roles in ‘Moneyball’ and ‘The Descendants’ respectively and were also up against Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan Gosling. But it was George who emerged victorious on the night. In his acceptance speech, the 50-year-old star stopped the jokes to praise Brad, 48, for his work over the last year.                                      –EPS
