TEXAS (SH): Oprah Winfrey isn’t going to let a little Oscar snub get her down. The media mogul and actress critically-acclaimed movie, Lee Daniels‘ The Butler, failed to score a single nomination at the upcoming Academy Awards. But Oprah threw on her emerald green glad rags and hit up the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards last night. Oprah was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, though she sadly missed out to 12 Years A Slave star Lupita Nyong’o. “If I had kids, my kids would hate me,” she said.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
