After being shown on an American TV show, the clip has been viewed more than half a million times on the web more than a year after it was first posted. The funny meeting sees Lucy approach the herd, who instead of scarpering, come in for a closer look. Simon said: “The cows came over and they looked interested and so I started filming.“Lucy was really calm about it and it really looked like they were communicating. I don’t know if the cows maybe thought she was a calf.”He put the clip on YouTube for family and friends but it was only just recently that it was picked up by another website and then rocketed into the limelight. Simon added: “So many people have commented on the video too, it’s amazing that Lucy has sparked so much debate about issues ranging from Darwinism to veganism.” –DTThis news was published in The Nation newspaper.
