Gaga to appear in documentary film

LADY Gaga has confirmed that she is teaming up with fashion photographer and regular collaborator Terry Richardson to make a new documentary film. The Born This Way singer revealed her plans in a Christmas Day message to her Twitter followers, saying that the movie would take a look at her career and the making of her forthcoming album Artpop. ‘Merry Christmas little monsters!’ she tweeted, adding: ‘Terry Richardson @Terry_World is making a #LadyGagaMOVIE documenting my life, the creation of [new album] ARTPOP + you! Thank you for being so patient waiting for my new album ARTPOP, I hope this gets u (sic) excited for things to come. I love you with all my heart!’ Gaga went on to say. And she addressed Richardson, saying: ‘I have looked up to you and your work for so long, it’s a dream come true!’ Gaga and Richardson previously worked together on a book of photos called Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson, which featured a selection of snaps Richardson took of the singer over a ten-month period. The documentary will not be the chart-topper’s only movie appearance in 2013. She is also set to make her acting debut in the Robert Rodriguez film Machete Kills - a sequel to the 2010 hit Machete - as femme fatale La Chameleon. Although there is no release date set for Artpop, Gaga recently revealed she has written over 50 potential songs for the album. She also joined the Rolling Stones on stage at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey, earlier this month - duetting with Mick Jagger on their classic Gimme Shelter.                                         –Metro
