RUSSELL Brand has come to the defence of under-fire comedians Dane Cook and Daniel Tosh.
Cook is receiving heavy criticism for making light of the Aurora shootings in a stand-up set last week, while Tosh has also been slammed for making a number of jokes about rape. E! Online reports that, when asked about the pair at a press conference, the 37-year-old argued: “I think if someone’s job is a comedian, and they say something, in the analysis of the content of their statement, you should recall that they’re a comedian. –DS
