Singer Adnan Sami, originally hailing from Pakistan but now an Indian citizen, landed himself in trouble on Friday after a controversial tweet.
Big Congratulations to @PMOIndia & our brave Armed forces for a brilliant, successful & mature strategic strike against #terrorism ! #Salute
— Adnan Sami (@AdnanSamiLive) September 29, 2016
Though the tweet garnered praise from Adnan’s fellow citizens in India, it enraged Pakistanis, who took to twitter to troll the ‘Thodi si to lift karade’ singer.
