CALIFORNIA - Jennifer Lopez has written about past relationships that ‘diminished’ her self-esteem. The 45-year-old superstar has been in several romantic relationships in the past.
And in her new book True Love, Jennifer writes openly about some of her most traumatic love affairs. ‘I’ve never gotten a black eye or lip, but I’ve been in relationships where I have felt abused in one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally,’ she wrote in an excerpt obtained by People magazine.
‘I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you but everyday that you don’t walk out that door, everyday you accept things in your partner and in yourself, is a day that you’re saying it’s okay.’ Jennifer has been divorced three times, having ended marriages to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony.
