Taliban militants fighting Afghan government set free four Turkish engineers in Ghazni province 125 km south of capital city Kabul on Sunday after months of keeping them in captivity, provincial police chief Zarawar Zahid said. "The Taliban insurgents who abducted four Turkish engineers in Paktia province some eight months ago released them this morning and handed them over to elders in Deh Khudaidad village in the outskirts of Ghazni provincial capital the Ghazni city," Zahid told Xinhua. He also said that the four engineers had worked for a road construction company in Paktia province when Taliban militants kidnapped them.
