Two pens found in man's stomach

JEDDAH – A medical team in Soliman Fakeeh Hospital endoscopically removed on Tuesday two pens from the stomach of a man in his 40s. The man, who is suffering from mental disorders, was rushed to the hospital after swallowing a pen and an ink remover.

Dr. Salim Bazara, professor of laparoscopy and gastrointestinal department at the hospital, said that it took two hours for the medical team to take out the pens that pierced into the inner part of his stomach.
