Indian court rejects bail plea of Samjhauta blast accused

An Indian court on Saturday rejected bail plea of Swami Aseemanand, the key accused of the 2007 Ajmer dargah blast in which three people were killed and 15 others injured. He is also an accused in several other blast cases across the county including those at Hyderabads Mecca Masjid, Samjhauta Express and Malegaon. The accused had filed the bail application in the CBI court on the grounds that he had been kept in custody for more than 90 days and investigation agencies had failed to file a challand (chargesheet) against him.
