KHARTOUM - Sudan asked Norway on Wednesday to send home one of its diplomats, Khartoum’s foreign ministry said, a day after Oslo ordered a Sudanese diplomat home over spying allegations. “Sudan’s ministry of foreign affairs asked Norway’s ambassador in Khartoum at a meeting to send home one of his diplomats,” ministry spokesman Al-Obeid Meruh said in a statement. Norwegian ambassador Morten Aasland told AFP he could not immediately comment. Norway expelled a Sudanese diplomat on Tuesday, saying his activity was incompatible with his diplomatic status.
