Kashmiris observing black day today

Indian Independence Day was being observed as Black Day on Saturday to convey to the international community that India is continuously refusing to give people of Indian occupied Kashmir their inalienable right of self-determination. According to Kashmir Media Service call for the observance of the day has been given by the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), the forum patronized by senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and JKLF R. They appealed to the people to observe complete strike in the occupied territory on the day. Senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi said in a media interview that India would not succeed in suppressing Kashmiris' liberation movement by brute force. The speakers at a seminar in Occupied Srinagar, today, emphasized that the environment of peace and security in South Asia could not be created without resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris' aspirations.
