WASHINGTON: The US Senate has approved national defense authorization bill estimating about $ 602 billion despite threatening call of veto by US president. According to Bill, $ 30 crore is subject to actions against Haqqani network in aid of $ 80 core being kept to Pakistan.

As the 85 members of Senate favoured the bill whereas 13 opposed while several amendment are controversial in act of defence authorization.

However, Obama administration was of the view that issues would be raised from controversial amendments whereas the US president has an authority to veto the bill despite Senate approval.
