Curfew in Rajouri after Muslims attacked for slaughtering camel

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the authorities continue to impose curfew in Rajouri district of Jammu region on the second successive day on Thursday.

The curfew was enforced after tension over an assault on some members of the Muslim community by Hindu extremists, for slaughtering a camel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

As the news about the assault spread, people from Muslim community assembled and held a protest against the assailants demanding their immediate arrest.

The authorities have deployed Indian Army to prevent demonstrations against the assault.
