ISLAMABAD: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu today thanked Special Adviser to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and expressed his gratitude for the people and government of Pakistan, for their unflinching support for democracy in Turkey.

Earlier, Fatemi had expressed solidarity with Turkish government on behalf of the people and the government of Pakistan, after a group of Turkish army attempted a fail coup to topple the government of President Recep Ardogone.

Turkish foreign minister said “we make such expectation from our brotherly country. I am grateful to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif too for sending his message of support for the Turkish government and democracy in Turkey.”
