Two US soldiers were killed and 12 wounded in a suicide attack in the Afghan capital Saturday, the US military said. "Two US servicemembers were killed and 12 others have been wounded," the force said in a statement, adding initial reports were that the blast was caused by a suicide car bomb. Afghan officials have said two civilians were also killed and about two dozen wounded in the blast, which was claimed by the Taliban insurgent group.
