Car bombs kills three near Baghdad

At least three persons were killed while more than 10 others were injured in two car bombs explosions near an entrance to Baghdad's heavily-fortified Green Zone. Interior ministry officials of Iraq said that Monday's blast occurred at around 8:30 am local time near a security checkpoint. The Green Zone is a sprawling complex in central Baghdad which houses many government buildings and foreign embassies.
