Pak expresses deep concern over LoC tension: FO

Pakistan, Saturday, while expressing serious concerns over prevailing tension at Line of Control (LoC) said that implementation on ceasefire agreement could only ensure regional peace and security.
Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry while reacting to statement of Indian Minister for External Affairs Salman Khursheed told ‘ONLINE’ that Pakistan had proposed strengthening and expanding the existing mechanism to ensure peace on the LoC.
Reportedly Salman Khursheed said in New Delhi that prevailing tension on LoC was a serious issue and should be resolved at the earliest possible.
“Pakistan and India have agreed to hold a meeting between Director General Military Operations (DG MOs) to explore ways how to ensure that ceasefire agreement remains intact” Chaudhry said adding, “Dates for the proposed meeting are being world out”. It is important that ceasefire is maintained along the Loc to ensure peace and security in the region.
It is worth mentioning that Indian political and military leadership have been using public sentiment against to divert attention of masses from their corruption and other grave social issues. More often Indian political parties also abuse anti Pakistan public sentiments for political gains.
According to Indian independent observers the ongoing tension and violations of ceasefire agreement on LoC was well planned and objective was to use anti Pakistan sentiment in the favour of ruling Indian political parties in the upcoming general elections.
It is worth mentioning that Salman Khursheed issued statement a day earlier, on Friday, after when unprovoked firing of heavy weapons including mortars by Indian Border Security Forces” near the city of Sialkot and martyred a civilian named as Sajid.
But on the same day, Chief Minister Indian Held Kashmir Omer Abdullah asked Indian Government to talk with Pakistan in a harsh tone on the issue of tension on LoC.
