NEW DELHI- India's anti-graft Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal was arrested today over a defamation complaint filed against him by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari.
Mr Kejriwal was brought to Tihar jail where he will be detained until Friday. This came after he refused to pay the bail bond of 10,000 rupees (S$214), said the report. Mr Kejriwal will be produced in court on May 23, 2014 according to local TV reports.
