Ambala: The educational career of 23 students from occupied Kashmir at stake in Ambala college in the Indian state of Haryana, as the authorities have asked them to leave after the India's Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) did not disburse their fee, under Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the parents of these aggrieved students
told journalists that their wards were enrolled in Shivalik Group of Institutions, Ilyaspur Ambala, in 2013-14. "Their admissions were governed by the scheme under which we were assured that the Indian government would meet their all educational expenditure till completion of their B-Tech course in the institution," they said. The parents added that concerned ministry had not released the sanctioned amount.
