Nine people were killed and 31 others wounded on Friday in twin blasts in the town of Khales, in Diyala province north of the Iraqi capital, a security official said. Among the wounded were women and children, said the official. The blasts occurred at around 6:15 pm (2015 PST) in central Khales, near the Diyala provincial capital of Baquba.
