Mumbai- Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has tested positive for swine flu. Her trainer in Mumbai has also tested positive for the same.
Sonam was admitted to Rajkot hospital as she suffered from viral fever. She was in Gondal town of Gujarat for the shooting of her upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
She was rushed to hospital on Friday morning after she complained of viral fever.
"She was admitted into hospital with complained of viral fever and we sent her samples for various tests including swine flu. She has been tested swine flu positive'' Dr Chirag Matravadia, head, Critical Care Unit at Sterling Hospital, told TOI.
"She is under observation in isolation ward at the hospital. Primarily it seems that she got infection from Mumbai as her trainer also infected with swine flu and he is under treatment in Mumbai'' Dr Matravadia added.
Dr Chirag Matravadia told TOI that they have also sent samples for the swine flu test. Sonam has been admitted in Sterling Hospital in Rajkot.
