Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik and 15 other people were injured when Indian troops resorted to indiscriminate firing on their rally in Srinagar. According to JKLF spokesman, clashes continued for the sixth day between army and demonstrators at several places in the occupied Kashmir as the protests against transfer of forest land to the Amarnath shrine board intensified. JKLF chairman Yasin Malik was also subjected to severe torture by Indian troops.
