Several Indian troops injured in army camp blast

SRINAGAR: Several Indian troops were injured, six of them critically, in a blast at an army camp in Pampore, Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.

The blast took place at the Core Battle School (CBS), an army training school, inside the cantonment in Khrew area of Pampore resulting in injuried to at least 12 troops. Police said that the injured were airlifted to Srinagar Base Hospital for treatment.

The KMS quoting Superintendent of Police Awantipora, Muhammad Irshad, said that a device exploded during a training exercise at the cantonment, injuring several army personnel.
