President Barack Obama will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel on November 3, during her US trip which also includes an address to a joint session of Congress, the White House said Thursday. The visit, which had been previously announced in Germany, will mark Merkel's first White House talks since she was reelected last month. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the two leaders would continue their dialogue on "a broad range of strategic issues," including Afghanistan, Iran and climate change.
