Five militants have been killed in a drone attack on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region of Nazyan, Waqt News reported. “Four militants were injured,” the media further reported.

According to media sources two missiles were fired from the drone.

The attack carries significance after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's request to Russian President Vladimir Putin to cooperate with Afghanistan in the war against militants. This drone attack is believed to be a message to Afghan government by US about their presence in Afghanistan.
