ISLAMABAD  – A comprehensive package for the welfare of Islamabad policemen including better accommodation and medical facilities as well quality education for their kids will be ensured to make this police more unique and distinctive force.
It was stated by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Amin Khan while distributing the uniforms among police officials and jawans on the advent of summer season. DIG (Headquarters) Ahmed Mukaram, AIG (Establishment) Asharaf Zubair Siddiqui, SSP (Headquarters) Zubair Ahmed Hashmi, DSPs Abdul Razaq, Sabir Shah, Bakhtiar Ahmed Lillah and other police officials were also present on the occasion.
The IGP said that quality education will be ensured for the children of Islamabad police while several other projects including their health insurance, life insurance are being started. He said that kith and kins of martyred personnel are given cheques for their educational fee and house rent so that they may not feel themselves alone and avoid any kind of financial inconvenience. 
The IGP overall appreciated the overall performance of Islamabad police as well as Islamabad traffic police (ITP) and said that ITP has become role model for other law enforcement agencies due to hard work and dedication of its personnel.
He also stressed for effective coordination among the various wings of Islamabad police to gain more success against criminal elements.
He said that performance of Islamabad police is also exemplary and committed to weed out the menace of corruption from this force.
He said that quality as well standard was focused during preparation of uniform of Islamabad police.
He said that low-ranking officials are the backbone of any force and Islamabad Police would make every possible effort to strengthen its cops down to the level of Constable so that they could perform in an effective manner and play a leading role in ensuring protection to the lives and property of citizens.
He said sense of responsibility is the basic thing to ensure effective policing and this can only be inculcated through facilitating the police employees. He asked the officials to treat their subordinates with tender so much so that they be given meal as it would be pivotal in boosting their confidence. He also expressed firm resolve to make Islamabad police a corruption-free force as well as people friendly institution.
