Group exhibition of 66 artists put on display

ISLAMABAD  – As many as 66 established and amateur artists on Saturday displayed a blend of different forms of art featuring over 100 works here at Gallery 6.
The unique group show served the art lovers with a taste of miniatures, prints, paintings, photography, drawings and sculptures that portrayed a variety of themes like landscapes, abstracts, still life, architecture, heritage, figurative art and many other subjects.
The show entitled “66 Statements” is the depiction of fascinating artworks by painters, print makers, sculptors and Photographers that explore their respective mediums in an innovative way.
The participating artists included A.Q.Arif, Aasim Akhtar, Abdul Jabbar Gull, Abid Hassan, Abrar Ahmed, Adnan Samuel Javed, Ahmed Khan, Akram Spaul, Aleem Dad Khan, Ali Abbas, Amjad Hussain, Amna Hashmi, Aneesa Khan, Aqeel Solangi, Arif Khan, Arjumand Hussain, Athar Jamal, Aziz Hasan, Faisal Asghar, Faten Anjum, Gabrielle Pool, Ghulam Rasool, Hajra Mansoor, Hanif Shehzad, Henri Souffay, Iqbal Hussain, Irfan Gul Dahri, Jamil Baloch, Javaid Khan, Mansur Aye, Mansur Rahi and Masood A. Khan.
Other artists were Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Zarah David, Zaira Ahmad, Wahab Jaffar, Tayyab Munawar, Tanvir Kausae Mughal, Tahir Bin Qalandar, Syed Najamul Hassan, Shehzad Mughal, Shehla Rafi, Sana Arjumand, Samina Ali, Saeed Akhtar, Rind, Rasheed Ahmed Arshad, Raja Najamul Hassan, Rabia Zuberi, R M Naeem, Phillip Hall, Omar Waheed, Omar Farid, Nusrat Raza Mangi, Nasir Ahmed, Naureen Qamar, Nahid Raza, Mutaib Shah, Mussarrat Nahid Imam, Mughees Riaz, Mohammad Ali Bhatti, Mobina Zuberi and Matloob Baig.
The gallery has displayed one or two art pieces of each artist to harmonise the themes and provide eye catching art experiences for the viewers, said an official of the gallery while talking to APP. The show will continue till April 15.
