President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday sent felicitation messages to Sheikh Hasina Wajid, President of Awami League, on her recent victory in Bangladesh elections. President Zardari congratulated Sheikh Hasina and expressed the confidence that under her leadership, the close brotherly relations between the two countries would be strengthened further. Zardari said Hasina's victory was the testimony of her proven leadership qualities and the tremendous confidence reposed in her and Awami League by the Bengali people. PM Gilani in his message congratulated Sheikh Hasina over her overwhelming victory in the recent elections.
