President ought to apologize from nation, over dishonoring Quaid-e-Azam: Senator Rasheed

President Asif Ali Zardari should apologize on his statement about Quaid-e-Azam and dragging the father of the nation on the issue of fake degrees is really sorrowful, said PML-N senior leader and spokesperson Punjab government, Senator Pervez Rasheed. Talking to a private TV channel Senator Rasheed said that President should heed over his wording before talking about Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the issue of fake degrees. As president has declared Quaid-e-Azam as non graduate, therefore it is shameful statement for the whole country. Henceforth, despite the whole nation, the family of the president and his party would be in deep regret and stress on the statement of the President. PML-N spokesperson further said that it is obligatory to the President that he should pay respect and honor to founder of Pakistan, therefore he should apologize from whole nation. Quaid-e-Azam was a great leader of Pakistan, he was Quaid all of us. Responding to a question he said that if president Zardari has any concern regarding fake degree issues, as he said that this issue had not been raised during the previous governments, then he should consult independent judiciary and raise all questions regarding this in court. He would get a better respond from court. He added that fake degrees issue is not a single party issue, it's a national matter. While advisor to President, Farah Naz Asfahani said that president has not said any negative word for Quaid-e-Azam. She clarified her point and said that what president had said in his speech it was mentioned in the book of eminent scholar Akbar S Ahmed.
