Islamabad -Chairman NAB Fasih Bokhari has filed review petition in Supreme Court against its decision on nullification of his appointment.
Sardar Latif Khan Khosa counsel for Fasih Bokhari has taken the plea in the review petition that consultation which was made by the President with Opposition leader in National Assembly in connection with the appointment of Chairman NAB was legal and the decisions under which the appointment of Fasih Bokhari has been set aside are not correct.  He took the ground that no question on the competence of Chairman NAB has been raised in the verdict as well as petition.  The same procedure is laid down in the law for removing Chairman NAB which is in place for removing the judge of superior judiciary from his office, the petition said. “Executive and judiciary cannot interfere in each others domain.”  He prayed the court to review its decision and issue stay order against the operationalisation of its verdict about Chairman NAB till the review petition is decided.
