LB candidate vows to serve masses

Rawalpindi - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) is the only party that enjoys full support of masses due to its ideology and fair play in the national politics, A LB candidate said.
He said that PTI candidates would contest the local bodies elections (LBs) to solve the problems of masses.
“We will clean sweep across the Union Council Kalyal with help of Allah Almighty and votes of the people of the area and will bring uplift in the lives of residents,” said Muhammad Akhtar Bhatti, a candidate for slot of Chairman in UC-83 Kalyal, while addressing various corner meetings in his area.
He was flanked by his panel including Asnad Saeed Malik, candidate for Vice Chairman Dehgal, general councillors Zulnorain Bhatti (Ward 1 Kalyal), Raheel Butt (Ward 2 Gulshan-e-Abad), Shabir Ahmed Awan (Ward 3 Khatana), Amir Bashir (Ward 4 Shahpur), Waheed Janjua (Ward 5 Deghal) and Abdul Qayum (Ward 6 Dehgal).
Addressing the corner meetings, Muhammad Akhtar Bhatti said that his penal would clean sweep across the UC-83 in upcoming LBs polls. He claimed that PML-N had never been seen serious in holding LBs elections in the country and credit goes to the Supreme Court for passing orders to hold LBs elections.
“Local Government system will strengthen the country and install true democracy. Local bodies can only be implemented by devolution of power to complete a democratic system,” he said.
“The residents are facing a genuine issue of potable drinking water in the UC and PTI would provide them clean drinking water,” he said adding that all the roads, streets and sewerage system would also be renovated or improved.
He said that PTI would also allocate land for graveyard in the area.
He said that many residents have been living without basic facilities of gas and electricity and PTI would solve their issues. A Zakwat Committee would also be constituted to help out the destitute segments of the UC, he said in addition with a grand operations would also be launched against the encroachments to avoid traffic rush.
