Dacoits’ gang busted, 12 outlaws arrested

Islamabad - Islamabad police have busted a gang of dacoits and also arrested 12 outlaws from various areas of the city, besides recovering looted items, weapons and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
On a tip-off, Station House Officer of Kohsar police station along with police team including Assistant Sub-Inspector Asif Ali and others raided at the hideout of dacoits in green belt near Blue Area and arrested three dacoits. They were identified as Fayyaz, Arshad and Arif while police recovered two 30-bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Police also arrested Imran wanted by the local police and also recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol. Shalimar police recovered ten wine bottles from the flat of Yousaf. Ramna police recovered two tempered cars from the possession of Nayyer and Ibrar. Police also arrested a drug pusher namely Saad Ali and recovered 160 kilograms heroine from him. Golra police arrested accused Muhammad Asghar involved in a murder case fir number 67/15 and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition. Police also arrested drug pusher Muhammad Ijaz and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him.
 Industrial Area police arrested two fake officials of ETO office namely Adnan and Aurangzaib. Sabzi Mandi police arrested accused Abu Bakar and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him. Sihala police arrested accused Amjad and recovered revolving light and number plates from the possession of accused Muhammad Usman. Koral police arrested accused Majid and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
