Ice demand on the rise in twin cities





ISLAMABAD  - Due to Ramazan, the demand of Ice has registered sharp rise in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
It is observed that several vendors have set up ice stalls in various parts of the twin cities to meet high demand.
Sharif Khan, a vendor of Ice at Double Road said it is good time for ice business, as people required it especially during iftar time.
He said that “my daily profit soars from 500 to 800”, adding that people use ice in various ways. Another, vendor said people demanded ice till late night.
In some the areas people complained the ice shortage and said that sometime it is difficult to fined it in the market due to high demand.
Due to hot weather most of the people arrange various drinks and some people use it for preparing ice cream and other items.
