Children display artwork at RAC




RAWALPINDI – Children of a private school on Saturday displayed their artwork at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).
The exhibition was arranged by RAC in collaboration with Silver Oaks School. Art pieces prepared by more than 2,000 children of 13 branches of the school were put on display in the exhibition. The work done by students was also appreciated by Waqar Ahmed, Resident Director Rawalpindi Arts Council. He pledged to continue such kind of activities at RAC.
The students prepared models of famous places including Menar-e-Pakistan, Khyber Pass and China Wall. The students also prepared projects of science and got appreciation by the visitors.
Chief guest Hassan Sattar, Managing Director Silver Oaks School, addressing on the occasion said that basic aim of the exhibition was to let the people know about the artistic and creative abilities of the students. He also applauded the efforts of Romana Junaid for organising successful event and thanked Rawalpindi Art Council for extending full cooperation.
