PM to visit Karachi tomorrow

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will likely to pay a one-day visit to Karachi tomorrow to review the overall law and order situation in the port city in the wake of the ongoing targeted-operation against miscreants.
The Premier would chair a high-level meeting on law and order situation to look into the progress so far made by the law enforcement agencies in the targeted-operation and the resurgence of the terrorist activities despite the operation.
Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI and crops commander Karachi will also attend the meeting.
Besides the Army Chief, Federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah would also be present in the meeting.
Director General Rangers, Chief Secretary and IG Sindh will brief the Prime Minister on law and order situation and the current status of ongoing-targeted operation.
The meeting of PM with PML-N Parliamentarians from the province as well as the Sindh Chapter leaders is also on the cards.
It is pertinent to mention here that almost a week ago the PML-N Parliamentarians from Sindh as well as the PML-N Sinch Chatper leadership had held a detailed meeting with the Prime Minister in Federal Capital and it was decided in that meeting that in future whenever Prime Minister would visit Karachi he would meet the party leaders from the province.
