Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Saturday released 1,78,420 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to IRSA, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 1,69,030 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded was at 1401.95 feet. The present water level at the dam was 72.95 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 44,400 cusecs while outflow was 62,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1143.50 feet which was 103.50 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 60,210 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 45,200 cusecs and 19,220 cusecs, respectively.
