Hike in LPG prices after POL prices increment

The Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) producer association has increased LPG prices by Rs 7 per kg due to price hike in Petroleum products. Chairman All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association, Irfan Khokar said that with the raise of Rs 7 per kg, the commercial price of LPG has become Rs 83 per kg and Rs 25612 per ton, which would be implemented from September 3. He said OGRA was due to announce the prices but producers and marketing companies raised the prices of LPG two days earlier. There is also a shortage of liquid gas, he added. With the increase in LPG prices, the price reached to Rs.92 per kg in Murree, Kahsmir and northern areas whereas LPG available at Rs.85 per kg in Islamabad, Rs 75 per kg in Lahore, Rs 77 per kg in Multan and Rs 79 per kg in Peshawar.
