Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Tuesday that there were no political differences over the elimination of terrorism.
Speaking to the media persons at the Parliament House, Pervaiz Rashid said the government and judiciary would be strengthened from anti-terrorism laws. He said a positive development has been witnessed in Pakistan that all political parties supported the anti-terrorism laws. He said the new anti-terrorism laws will help eliminate the menace of terrorism.
He said the Centre was working with the provincial governments to ensure protection of journalists.
Pervaiz Rashid said the federal government will provide all kinds of assistance to the Sindh government for law and order in Karachi.
The minister said he had raised his voice over the killing of Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar and the case was being transferred from Karachi so that justice prevails.
