ISLAMABAD-Hundreds of Jamiat Tulba Islam (JTI) and Jamiat Ullma Islam (JUI) activists took to the road here on Friday and marched from Lal Masjid to Aabpara Chowk against the Israeli attacks on Gaza strip and massacre of innocent Palestinians. Participants of rally strongly condemned the brutal Israeli attacks on Gaza where hundreds of innocent Muslims had been killed by Israeli attacks. They were calling upon the Muslim world and the Organisation of Islamic Country (OIC) to launch a movement to free the Holy Land from unlawful occupation. They also condemned the aggression of Israel, India and United States (US) against the Muslim world. Charged protestors were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against Israel, US and India. The participants were chanting slogans against Israel and America. They condemned over atrocities being committed against innocent citizens of Palestine. Addressing the rally Naib Khateeb of Lal Masjid Maulana Mufti Amir Saddiq strongly condemned the Israeli terrorism against innocent Muslims of Palestinian. He said that Israel army carried out missile attack on innocent Palestinians and killing of nearly 300 Muslims in the attacks was a condemnable act. He demanded the OIC to intervene and exert pressure on Israel to avoid promoting terrorism. "It is an inhuman act and also makes clear the anti-Islamic policy of Israel and its two big supporters America and India," Aamir added. He appealed Islamic countries to take effective decisions from the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) platform and help Palestinians at this crucial juncture. He urged upon the Muslim countries leadership to convene the OIC and Arab League meetings immediately and discuss this matter. He asked the Muslim leadership especially the Arab counties to socially boycott the Israel. He also demanded of the government to early release former Khateeb of Lal Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz. He expressed worry over the law and order situation in the country. He demanded of the government to provide extra security to Lal Masjid during Muharram. The JUI Islamabad Ameer Qazi Sohail Ahmad Abbasi demanded the nation take to streets for foiling the conspiracies against country. He said that JUI workers were holding protest march against Israeli aggression all over the country on the call of JUI Ameer Maulana Fazal-ul-Rehman. He said Indian and Western media remained silent over the massacre of Palestinians and the claimants of fostering peace in the world didn't say a single world to condemn the Israeli aggression. Criticizing US for its dual standards, he said despite the massive killings of Muslims in Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan and Iraq, it was busy in propaganda against Muslim population. Slamming the government for its silence over drone attacks, he said submitting to US pressure, the Pakistani rulers had started action against its own people. Addressing the rally the Habib Ullah President JTI International Islamic University has said that problems, faced by the Muslims, was the result of the weakness of Muslim rulers who had accepted US slavery. He lamented that Muslim leaders were not united owing to Muslims were facing violence and suffering at the hands of anti-Islam powers. He urged the leaders of Muslim countries to take stand against Israeli invasion. He said that 16 million people of Pakistan have a great link with Palestinians Muslim and they wanted the immediate halt of Israel aggression.
