ISLAMABAD - At a time when law and order across the country is too bad and deteriorating by each coming day, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan could be given the slot of federal interior minister to improve the security situation in the country, sources said on Sunday.
"Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan is going to be the next interior minister. His experience and quality to handle crisis has appealed the bosses at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to pick him as the new interior minister," said the sources while talking to TheNation. Also, the sources close to those who are supposed to pick the suitable candidates for important ministerial slots in the upcoming federal government of PML-N said that name of Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has been finalised for federal interior minister's slot. Even though decision to appoint Nisar was taken in principle, however, it was not announced until filing of this report.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad police made an elaborate plan to ensure fool-proof security in the federal capital as the legislators meet up today to elect speaker and deputy speaker of the lower house of parliament. "Islamabad police has finalised plan to ensure fool proof security for Monday's session of parliament. IG Islamabad," a spokesperson of Islamabad police told this scribe.
